Results shown are from one waxing session. Hair typically regrows in 3 to 6 weeks, and with regular waxing, it often grows back softer and finer, with longer gaps between sessions over time.
Aftercare & Waxing Prep Tips
Avoid hot baths / suntanning / sun exposure / swimming / heavy lotions / perfumes / deodorant / exfoliation / abrasions / tight clothing (e.g. tight pants) at areas waxed for at least 48 hours after your session.
We strongly recommend ladies to apply tea tree lotion after wax as an antiseptic to prevent inflammation and rashes. This should be done on a regular basis to cleanse the pores to prevent ingrown hairs.
Do also try to scrub the area gently 5 – 7 days after waxing to remove dead skin which will help to minimize possible ingrown hairs.
The optimal hair length for waxing is about 1cm. If you have just shaved, please allow your hair to grow for at least two weeks before coming for your waxing session. You don’t need to trim your hair before waxing, we will take care of that, if needed!
Towels and wet wipes will be provided at Blush, so don’t worry about bringing any additional items!
Blush checks to make sure every client is ready for waxing treatment. We may decline treatments for clients with the following condition(s):
- Sunburned, irritated skin
- After chemical peel / microdermabrasion / laser (for face)
- Pregnant ladies during their first trimester
- During menstruation
- Certain medical conditions, e.g. diabetes
Please inform us if you are on any oral medication for your skin, or topical medication for the treated area. Some medication can cause the skin to be more sensitive and thinner than usual, especially topical retinoid products such as Retin-A and Differin. This might cause your skin to be more vulnerable to lifting and more sensitive to pain during a waxing treatment.
Please also ensure that the area is clean and your skin is in good condition. Avoid waxing if your skin feels dry or sore!
